Part 22 - The Qur'an Against Arabs

Part 20 - Islam & African Slavery

Islamic sources show that Muhammad had some "interesting" opinions about Africans. Beyond that, slavery is a historic part of orthodox Islam. In fact, Saudi Arabia did not officially ban slavery UNTIL the the 1970's!! The Islamic Republic of Mauritania "banned" slavery in the late 90's (yet it is practiced with complicity from society as a whole even now). Sudan has a massive epidemic with slavery today, being perpetrated based on a RELIGIOUS basis (the Muslim Sudanese are enslaving, raping, killing and torturing the non-Muslims). In Islam, slavery is also practiced based on religion, whereby Muslims are allowed to own non-Muslims as property.
